I really enjoyed this. As a winemaker, I feel so trapped by the “natural vs conventional” wine rhetoric and see the differences as a gradient instead of black and white. The wine industry is in a difficult moment and I think people have become less nuanced and more aggressive in differentiating themselves. Sometimes that’s needed in a competitive market but I also wonder… could the wine industry as a whole be stronger if we had more of a “all boats rise with the tide” mentality?
